Get Involved

If you live or work in our parish and care about what happens to it in the future, and want to have some influence on how it progresses towards the next decade or so then please contact our Steering group, if only to give your views…everyone’s point of view is of value and will help form a neighbourhood plan for our community, and that will be  Your Neighbourhood Plan.

There are a number of ways for you to get involved in this process, ranging in the amount of involvement required and therefore the amount of time and effort required.

We need people who have abilities in;

I.T and web site management, media and marketing, administration skills, graphic design and publication skills, etc, plus anyone who is enthusiastic and wants to help their community by taking part in the process of constructing our Neighbourhood Plan.

Contributor

We will be looking for people to contribute ideas and thoughts toward to development of our plan and its content. Not everyone may want to be involved but may have valid opinions and ideas and just want to pass these on, this is to be encouraged as we want this to be a fully inclusive community Plan. We will be looking for a range of people to contribute to the plan throughout the process on a variety of subjects that may include titles such as these, its up to you really:

• housing
• countryside and green belt
• transport
• services and facilities
• wildlife
• and many more.

Volunteer

We will be holding a number of drop in events and small group meetings throughout the process and this will also need people to be available to help at these events.  We would like to create a list of people to call on should we need assistance at an event to help them run smoothly, that’s just one other way people can help.

Respondent

We will be seeking your views at a number of stages throughout this process and will offer a number of opportunities to give your opinion on a range of subjects that relate to planning in the Parish.  These may take the form of:

• Online Polls
• Detailed surveys
• Speaking to us at events
